you guys camping at that spot next to the creek ? or is it the one thats at the end of a dead end think its called Kings campground ?

 

I'm meeting up with Ryan ad were gunna wait for people to come at the 4 wheel drive course and from there go to the camp site

 

If you are trying to secure those campgrounds best thing would be to have at least one or two trucks post up and setup camp that way no one else trys to take the spot.

I cant really tell from the map which spot it is, but it looks like either Kings camp or Piru creek camp. There's a really big area to camp next to Piru Creek, plenty of space for parking, the Kings campground is really nice and secluded also but probably not as much space to fit all of our trucks.

I think the trail that goes across the creek and up to Alamo Mountain may be open now, it connects to Miller Jeep trail if any 4x4 guys wanna check that out

 

i dont think many people are going to be camping, i have no clue where the site is.

 

Manwithoutaplan came up with a came site so it's away from people once Friday comes ill post on here directions to the camp site so no one gets lost

THe camp site is right next to the creek and the road that it is on is Gold hill rd.

 

can we drive in the creek .......

Ok cool then this is probably the camp ground that I was thinking of, I mentioned camping there last time but people didnt really seem that interested since it was a little bit of a drive away from the other trails at Gorman.

put me down as a maybe, I really wanna go, I have been wanting to camp by that river for a while now. Im gonna try and find out when they open the gate (that crosses Piru creek) that trail takes you to the top of Alamo Mountain and you can run Miller Jeep trail backwards..theres also another really nice campground up there too.

 

Done and done hopefully you can make it out there's a lot people camping this time compare to the other meets I've been on

 

12 trucks camping so far...I've never been to Gorman, are there camps sites big enough for that?

 

I hope we have phone signal so ppl can reach Juan and I. We should figure out times when ppl thinking they are going to be @ 4x4 park.
