its those last 8mph that will get you. lol
    0-68?

sounds like you have plenty of power in the engine if it still gets up to 5k rpm fine. might be a transmission thing? :notsure:

No codes thrown? So you're not running in limp mode?

If it's winding up in RPM like that and not putting the power to the ground, my money is on the torque converter.

Did they fill up your transmission fluid when they changed out the radiator?

Oh that's right, RPM wouldn't go up in limp mode. See, I have too many rep points. Don't listen to me. Jason, you can take them back.:D

But darn it, I've seen someone else somewhere with the same problem Matt's experiencing. I'll glance over at TN and see if I find it there.
EDIT: Actually, I think it was due to over/under filled tranny fluid (Jason's got it covered on this one). So you've got the tow package and recently had your radiator removed?

Yeah sounds like low fluid level. He had an "incident" with his radiator.
Matt...take your truck back over to Toyota and tell them to fix that shit.

EDIT: Actually, is there a tranny dip stick with the 2nd gen 4 banger or is it a sealed system?

Why? Because I speak the truth and offer my experience and knowledge?
Didn't I give you free fuel injectors too?

    I dunno. :notsure:
Why don't you call San Jose and explain the situation and see what they say? Of course, if you have a dipstick, it's real easy to check if that's the problem. I just don't anything about the auto transmissions the 2TR uses.

Just looked. Do you have the 4 speed or 5 speed auto transmission?
If you have the 4 speed (A340E transmission) there's a dipstick. If you have the 5 speed (A750E transmission) it's a sealed system...and adjusting the fluid level sucks a fat donkey schlong and requires jumping terminals on the OBDII port and doing the hokey pokey.
