So how bad is the rubbing? I'm assumiing you'll be tubbing the firewall. I've been itching to pull the 315's off my Land Cruiser and throw them on the Tacoma just to see how bad it is. 35's look really good on the Tacomas.

Climbed under my Taco to get a feel at what I will need to do to remove the 2" space lift, and replace with a Bilstein setup. Haven't figured out the route yet, but want to walk away with a 3" lift when all is said and done. Still researching....

    But the job itself.....I skerred:eek:

if its a spacer it's easy. just take the old crap out and swap the new stuff in. took me about an hour, but that was jacking up one side take wheel off, swap suspension, put wheel on, then do the other side. if you lift both off at same time it should be less time.

5100s with eibach coils are pretty popular on here.

Thats on my short list. Or the Toytec ultimate package. The Toytec is more expensive, but I like that fact that I don't have to deal with a spring compressor. Since I'm good friends with Murphy (and his laws) it would be my luck to have the compressor fail and take my head off. But I guess I can always get a shop to compress the eibach coils.

Still researching..TW has some great info, and alot, so much so that my head starts spinning...:D

Compressing coils is a huge pain in the ass. If you have the old school ones like I do, after about 100 quarter turns on the bolts your worries about getting decapitated by the spring disappear.
