Yea about 600 Jeeps from a nation wide show. I'd love to see ours get much bigger than last time but not thinking we are gonna make those kind of numbers. :D LOL. Although for such a short time frame and such crappy weather I thought the last one went well.

You could get pretty big faster than you know it. Those Jeeps arent all nationwide. Most of them are from the local offroad clubs. If you got our tacomas, the tundras, and fj cruisers you could be looking at something pretty big. I will post something up on NTC, Francis could post on SSW, and if someone got YankeeToys, you would have all Toyota based clubs in the area involved.

It would be possible the hardest part would be putting on an event that has some kind of draw. I went to the jeep rally bc i was passing through on my way back from Western MA. They had a comp course and RTI ramp. A dozen other contests a classic jeep show, show and shine ect.

There are plenty of toyotas out there you just need to give people a reason to drive a couple hours. Its tough to get someone from maine or NH to drive to MA for just ameet and greet. We would need something cool to draw people in. Hell even open it up to some lexus/toyota ricer forums:D All toyota show lol

You could also contact boch toyota or some of the larger toyota dealerships and get them involved or toyota corporate.

Yea, I'm sorry I meant to metion all those local clubs too as well as some other sites. As far as events, we have already talked about having manufacturers, a RTI ramp, and prizes/drawings. They even metioned food and music. Also I don't want to say anything too soon but I've meet some people at Toyota who were part of the redesign of the '12 Tacoma.

Ya I'm getting pretty frustrated with this truck . I also have been reading up on those lca bushings . I'm going to stick my gopro under ther in the morning and make sure there not moving back and forth like some of the videos I've seen on Tw . When you do your bushings . If I'm around i can help you if you want . Are you going to bring them to a shop to get pressed in or use a c clamp and socket . Like that guys video ?

From what i saw on their website you have to drill 2 holes on the right side of where the ac contrlols are when you remove them.

Thanks John! I don't think they were twisting when the suspension cycled although yours might with the extended travel shocks.

Every night this week that I've wrenched on the cam bolts trying to break them free has just thrown me further out of alignment. It was boarder line scary driving in the rain this morning, apparently marking the cams with a pencil and eye balling it doesn't really get it close enough

If I get the parts, I'm going to tackle it next weekend. I need to get through it quick because I can't afford to have the truck down during the week. I'll start tearing down Friday night, finish the tear down Saturday, knock the rust off and spray them with Rustoleum Rust Preventer, install the bushings Sunday and reinstall everything, alignment Monday morning and the truck will never have missed a beat. Sounds great on paper doesn't it? :D So... got anything going on next weekend? I pay in burgers, pizza cold beer and return work!

Thanks Rob! I'll post up once the parts come in and I know when I can do the tear down. Weather permitting, I'll be doing it in my driveway in Millis. My garage is too narrow to work on the truck (and there's too much crap in there anyways).

Don't get here often enough, my pic caught my eye.
Wildcat's correct, drill two small holes in plastic, hidden by reinstalled Climate Controls
Attach with a couple short tapping screws (supplied)
I Like the mount, bought adapter plate for two devices.
Only issue is I find it a bit bouncy, On Road. Never been Off Road with it.
It may just be the weight of the two devices
I'll check back if there's any other specific questions.
