I actually had a day dream while driving that I got into a wreck. After getting on the interstate about 20 minutes later I wrecked my old car. Some ding dong in an all black truck in trailer with no lights in the dark and bad weather. It could be a premonition.

    Just be carefull!

i had a dream just last night i was wiring up my roll bar lights, i didn't do that, had a local shop do the bull bar and roll bar lights for 50 bucks, i did it..... after doin all the other work myself that probably sounds lazy, but i didn't want to jack with all that wiring so i had them do it, $50 sounded cheap too.

anyway, been working on it so much i dreamed about that last night..... took a road trip to cleveland, OH... about 3,000 miles round trip back over thanksgiving, before i left dreamed i had wreck then.... pretty upsetting!

as everyone else said, BE CAREFUL!

    tiger,
i got off dirt CHEAP!!! you know i only gave $50 bucks for that roll bar!?!? i paid $125 for it and 2 KC lights, i sold those on ebay for $76, so i really only gave $49 for it!

i then bought "KC Knock-Off" or whatever you wanna call them, they are not kc or hella, or pro comp, just cheap look a likes, i gave $96 for all 6 of those 5" 100W lights, and i just had them all on, they put out some light!!

the tops ones are a little dimmer than the 2 on the bull bar, they are all 6 the same lights, i think maybe where they are slit 4 times they are getting 1/2 the amps the front ones are so it makes 'em dimmer.... still pretty dang bright.... anyway, my point is, i did not spend much money!!! :bananadance:

Nice! Way to wheel n deal!

Yeah, you may need to run separate power/ground lines for the lights. Like maybe 2 per set of wires. I had some lights mounted to a bar I made and stick to the roof with magnets, and they were so dim it wasn't worth using. I had 6 small lights, and 3 power wires with 1 ground. Adding a second (thicker) ground wire they were brighter, but I think the power wires were too thin and/or too few to feed them properly. I didn't expect them to light up like the crack of dawn, but I would be better off duct taping 3 maglites to the roof!

    Shut up.

this is off topic but i have problems sleeping, and recently i have been taking ambien. I have been having alot of weird very realistic dreams lately. Its nice getting a full nights sleep but i hate these stupid dreams. they aren't nightmares they're just random and realistic. anyone else taking ambien and having problems like that?

I had a supervisor that was taking ambien. She dreamed that she was at a local gas station in the middle of the night, in her mink coat, talking with the guy behind the counter and eating candy bars. About a week later she went to put on the coat and in the pocket was a bunch of candy wrappers and a few reciepts. She had obviously been sleepdriving to the store in the middle of the night.

Yeah i've heard about some sleep walking problems and some people hallucinating. On the local morning radio show i listen to one of the guys brought up the subject. a bunch of people called in with their experiences. One guy woke up to him mom screaming at him. apparently he had sleep walked all the way up one of the 90ft silo's at their farm and fallen back asleep on the cat walk between the two. My gf's little sister sat in bed reaching for stuff in front of her that wasnt there. I usually sleep in the buff but since i've been taking it i put on some shorts and a shirt just in case i end up climbing trees in the front yard. At first i tried Ambien CR and it had no side effects but it wouldnt put me to sleep. i could stay up for hours and hours after i took it. with regular ambien i can stay up if i want to but if i lay down i can get to sleep but i keep having these weird dreams. as far as i know i havn't left the bed yet....

does anyone else have sleep problems and taken anything that works with no weird side affects?

Reason #478 not to live in SC: you might run across a naked turkey roosting in a tree
