    Okay guys just bought another Tacoma a 2007 SR5 Reg Cab 4 cylinder Prerunner. It had a engine light on it when I bought it. Anyways the code is P0418, I have looked at several diagrams and all but need a little help on what to check exactly and how to check. Please help......

    Tailgate mod, horn mod,storage door mod
    :) I don't know if you have the 4 cylinder or the V-6 , so I will try to list both repair info sites if there is one for each.
    I know this for the FJ, and it is for the 4 cylinder and the V-6 also , but it should be the same for the Tacoma.

    The electric air pump is not working correctly and you may be able to fix it yourself if you are able. Good Luck.

    Thanks I guess I should have posted it is a 4 cylinder...... I will look this over see if it helps..........

    Whew after allot of painless time figuring this out. It was the harness end that connects to the air pump. It had a bad terminal, looked lioke it was broke off and was not making good contact. I do not know if you can buy just that end does anyone know?
