Haha. SAS seems like a massive undertaking. The geometry and all of that just blows the back of my skull out just thinking about thinking about it!:bananadead:

i would agree with you on that one sir. without a doubt, i would not be able to even allow myself to wipe clean my front end of all of its stock parts and fabricate a new setup....

    but still....

hell yea man, that's Chris Rolison's Truck. I went wheeling with him about 4 years ago when he had a badass 4runner. He totally transformed that taco with the rear bed and other things here n there. Im pretty sure he put lockers in it. last time i saw it he still had the bed on there with open open diffs...

    great owner.

    great rig.

I would probably just buy that and have a dd capable taco and a trail beater. It would probably cost about the same in the long run:cool:

Owell, cant complain with pricing of these guys and they are doing the work minus me cutting and disassembling everything out... Ill let them do all the geometry and welding so its not a hack job

Yea got started kinda late and just got the main mounts from fram and rectangle tube mounted and tacked to the frame mounts the first day then came back and caped the ends and got the main bottom tube on, going back tomorrow for the upper tubes that will come off the bottom, got them bunt and coped just got to make the passenger side one and weld it u then put the hitch reciever in and the D-Shackles and it will be done.

Helluva lot more high clearence than stock with the hitch under it...all in all i gained around 6" extra clearence.. it looks a lot higher now too

    :D

1/4" mounts, this was just the beginning, we also ran another piece on the bottom of the frame thats welded to this piece and its all bolted up to the stock bolt holes using 4 bolts per side

Hows about those pointed end caps, i torn between those or just a rounded one on both sides

Tacomarotto: I think im going to do the rounded ones instead of it just being flat like everyone elses ya know

Looks great! Reminds me of Box Rocket's bumper. The caps don't look too bad but personally I'd pass.
