Hey all, new guy here from San Diego(North County).

Just bought an '09 TRD Offroad Tacoma Prerunner Doublecab in Super White. 30k miles, looks brand spankin new. It was a good find and I couldn't pass it up. It's all stock except for a little Trijicon sticker I put on the rear window last night just to add my own bit of personality to it.

I guess that's it! Glad to have finally found the truck I wanted so badly but couldn't afford a couple of years back.

    Stoked:D

Thanks! Just paid her off today. I'm thinking Weathertech floor mats come first, then running boards.

Weathertechs are a great investment. If you plan to offroad at all, most people prefer sliders over running boards. Just depends on your application.

    Lol. You live near Seau?

Not sure how much real offroading I plan on doing. I pretty much bought the thing to do stuff like Mojave Road and to get out to some good shooting spots I know of. Nothing more serious than that.

EDIT: Actually, sliders sound cool. Is there something available with a grippy surface to step up on? Gotta play chauffeur for the mom on weekends sometimes, and she doesn't like having to climb into the truck.

And yes, I do live close -- about five blocks away. I actually went to highschool with him, and although I didn't know him I have great memories of his HS football days. 1986 was a hell of a season for OHS.
It's a bummer. He was a great influence on the kids in the area and will be missed.
