265/70/16 or 245/75/16

    2009 Tacoma Prerunner TRD Off road 2wd
    TRD OFF ROAD, Tow Package, Scanguage2, Secure Tailgate Mod, OEM Tacoma Bed Mat, Stainless Side Step Bars, Extang Trifecta Cover.
    I have a 2009 Tacoma DC Prerunner with Off Road package... have put 75000 miles on the BFG ALL Terrain Ta tires 265/70/16.
    I dont use the truck off road at all... use it for work which is driving on paved roads with the occassional dirt road...
    Looking at tires and wondering if I should go with the 245/75/16 this time.
    Again, dont need anything off road...
    Really hoping to pick up some tires used and save a bunch since so many folks pull the tires off these trucks!

    The 245's will most likely be better for fuel economy. They're kinda skinny but don't look terrible on a Tacoma. Mine came with that size but I ended up going the other way, 245 to 265.

    Just do not buy used Dunlop GranTrek AT20 that someone took off. They took them off for a reason, they are trash.

    Arguably, the skinny tires perform better in a lot of situations anyways when comparing similar tread patterns.
