if you knew anything about hockey you would understand that the rangers and the capitals both play a defensive minded game. It isn't going to be a high scoring series by any means. With a hot goaltender in Holtby and a historically good goaltender in Lundqvist, it is going to be low scoring. Dale Hunter has been sitting Ovechkin because he doesn't play defense, get it? Both teams finished the year 1 and 2 in shots blocked by team.

Well my beloved Caps better suck it up Saturday to get back in the series. As it is the Caps need to win 3 out of 4 with the Rangers.

 

Chara is a freak of nature that is extremely good at defense. He also has the benefit of a longer stick.

Tim Thomas is so succesful because the Bruins have great team defense and force most shots outside. He is usually in the right place at the right time.

A power play is when the other team breaks a rule and loses a man for 2 min, 4 minutes, or 5 minutes depending on the infractions.

Icing is when the puck is passed from behind the red line and reaches the goal line in the offensive zone without a player from either team touching or being close enough to touch it.

Offsides is when a player enters the offensive zone before puck.

Chara is overrated. why? he can't move, has no stick skills, everyone skates around him. Cool he's enormous, his stick is big. No one cares when he gets beat when he pinches at the blue line.

Thomas? The only reason Thomas makes saves is because he's 5 feet outside of the blue. If he had any reaction time whatsoever in his old age he would be able sit inside the blue and make saves. Easiest way to beat him? get him moving, I've never seen a worse/uglier goalie going from side to side in my 20 years of watching hockey. Every time the puck goes from one side of the ice to the other, hes on his stomach or ass looking like a fool when the puck gets shelfed on him.

 

Chara isn't overrated, the dude is one of the hardest working members on the Bruins. Nobody puts in harder work than he does.
