I went with the Fold-A-Cover G4. I'm really pleased with it so far. The 4 sections make the front part pretty light and easy to open. It's very well made and solid, and the locks are a plus (but like most locks they'll only keep out the honest people). The only drawback is you don't get full bed access without removing the cover from the truck. For me, that wasn't a deal breaker.

Had tires rotated at Dave's ETD. Brakes are looking a little thin but should be good for another 5,000.

I put a seat cover on the passenger seat and stopped off to purchase my range pass for the year. Around here 90% of your "wheeling" is done on military property so you have to buy a $12 pass and stay out of restricted areas. So I wasted no time and took the long way home from work today through the military reservation. It was my first real off roading with the new truck. I gotta say that bone stock my 08 taco handles the deep sand way better than my stock f150 did. I got the taco a little muddy so now its time to detail her. It was really fun out there in the trails but a bit humbling out there alone not really knowing where you may come out at or what lies ahead. I knew where I was the whole time by keeping up with the range map and all the cross road numbers I came across. So if I did get stuck I felt like it would be easy to relay my exact location to whomever would have to get me out. Time to start buying recovery gear.
