I did that when I was 16 and it was so much fun. I learned a ton from that course. It is rather expensive, or at least was when I was a kid.

I did it as a Team builder with my last office and the Group half day rates aren't too bad when we did it. but I am going to call them and find out before posting. if its too much then I'll come up with something different

Many people I have talked with have wanted to do more "Familly Oriented" Meet & Greets. I know you think the Pizza ones a stupid, but I have had folks suggest renting a Gazebo at a park, and having a BBQ, throwing frisbees, etc. The ones your are suggesting arent very familly friendly. I mean......if someone has small kids, wich many of the older members do, Wives, etc., The Bondurant things isnt gonna fit for them. The folks I have talked with want the next meet & greet to be at a park, where the famillys can all attend. Ive got a line on a Gazebo already at McCormick Rail Road park for a meet in the next couple months. That all being said, teh Bondurant would be fun as shit! Much like the Local Motors meet, but you should consider things that all members can go to and include their famillys........or not....just throwing my 2 cents in the ring.....

Oh I'm in for bondurant too. Did the 75 mph carts there a few years back. just me, my grandpa, my dad, and uncle. Three generations and the track to ourselves all day. Was fun and definitely competitive. Lol

Another reason not to have any fuck trophies.

However, a BBQ would always be fun. Or even a day at sunsplash were the adults can get drunk in the lazy pool while the kids go run around and stir up shit.

I am totally down for that. I'll even pay for renting the Gazebo at a park so we can have the kids and everyone can hang. I know most members have little ones and want to bring the wives because I have met a lot of them. Let me know a date and I'll be more then happy to help you set it up. I don't think pizza or food meets are lame I think that not having parking so we can have everyone setup or the place of business is not ready for us to be there is lame. I love planning events its something that I enjoy doing when I see people hanging fun and a great time. Honestly it seems like the AZ group is back to the way it was when I first joined here where people are getting along and want to do things together and thats great to see. Its one of the reasons on why I wanted to do this with Local Motors. This was going to be the gauge to see if its worth it to do more things on a monthly or qtrly basis

Having an idividual pay would be silly. No reason the cost (if any) couldnt be divided up between everyone who attends.

We have the old fart meet at the Walgreens Pharmacy every other month. :p......now.....where am I?
