I have the stupid ass looking rock rims...got the rims in a trade. They are 15x8. I run 10.50's at 8-10 psi and haven't lost a bead yet. I have had my sidewall wrapped around the out side of the rims and think the rock rings help out some. Don't know how much...so for that reason I leave them on. Kinda like the diff drop, figure it can't hurt

Hmm IDK if i should just buy them online and weld them on. Although its alot of work to get them burned on perfectly. His are done. I already had to replace one rim due to it being bent. So the $100 for some stiffener may be worth it.
Im not talking about the bead lock looking ones Like these with yota logos in them. Instead of FJ

For what i actually did for it!
I got a new frame! Still need to drill the extra 4 holes in my rear bumper. Figure out how to get my bud build back on because the original mounts died and i used big grade 8s to hold it on.

Strangly it sits about half an inch higher. I guess my leaf bushings were worse than i thought.

Changed the rear diff oil and was going to do the transfer case and front diff as well. But the transfer case oil was clean as a whistle and I couldn't find the front drain/fill plugs

Also, I noticed these leaking grease. I am a total noob so can anyone tell me what they are and how much you think it may run to get them repaired?

Its kind of hard to tell in both pics, but there is grease coming out both of them. I had to wipe a bunch of dried stuff off to see the tears.

Outer tie rods they are cheap the most expensive thing would be a new alighnment. Unless you measure the old one when you take it off and get the new one dead on. I wouldnt worry about a little grease leaking honestly untill the whole seal fails. Google how to check your tie rods and just make sure they are still tight and dont have any play.

Cool, thank you! I have a feeling it's more than just a bit of grease though. There was a bunch of old dried up grease on the outside of the boot that I had to wipe away to reveal the tear. I may as well just replace them. That probably explains my wandering all over the road issue, no?

It very well could. However it could also be the rack bushings those are known to get old and your rack starts to move. Or a bad alignment. Either way when you get them replaced check the steering rack bushings and get an alignment your problems should be solved:D

Looks like you have enough lift to put on about twice the tire size that you're running now.
