Jim, I'm sure that with yours making noise while turning, it probably isn't the needle bearing. That sucks that another one got pulled in.

I am surpised that non of you lifted 4x4's have noticed the needle bearing problem. I found that my truck has this problem and I'm going to need to replace it with a bushing from ECGS.

Yeah that's the NMO 2/70 B that is tuned for 2M and 70cm ham bands. The one you want is the NMO27B, or NMO27 if you want the raw stainless whip.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I officially have progressed past being a college kid.. I'm going to the midnight showing of the avengers and I went to bed at 7 so I could wake up at 1030. This is a sad moment in my life. I can't even stay up until 1030 anymore

Welcome to real life. At least you make real money!

.. But all of your income is no longer disposable. :(

Also, so with the weather cooling down, I didn't hear any noise... not sure what's going on at this point. I did read that some weird frontend noises can come from the body mount bolts being loose, easy fix, so I'll give that a shot...

Nah, I'm going to talk Dave into shoehorning in a 454 Big Block with nitrous and a tunnel intake manifold. lmao

On a side note, does anyone have any old, stock suspension parts they are not using? I don't want them to keep, I want to take measurements for some ideas that I have. I am looking for both first AND second Generation.

What measurements do you need? I've got my stock UCA's, shocks, springs, leafs, and rear shocks somewhere in my basement.

I like the way you think. :D

As for stock parts, I'll throw mine in the back when I make the trip over to your shop.

I am wanting to measure rear shock length (full compress, full extension) from center of mount to center of mount. Next rear shackle dimensions (all dimensions). From there I will have to look at what else I may need.
Thanks Dave, I appreciate it, and BTW your clutch shows to be in Montgomery as of this morning, so I may see it on Friday.

So, how come my little green bar under my name has only 4 squares? Nobody must like me *sniff* lmfao

I really enjoyed it. Not the best movie in the world, but definitely on par with all the iron man movies. I'm actually surprised at the amount of comedic parts during the huge fight scene.
