Simple explanation: the bypass tubes allow the fluid to bypass the piston, and you can control this flow with the adjustment screws

Yeah, I think I get it now... I didn't realize the bypass tubes reconnected to the main shaft, hence the confusion. :anonymous:

    Thanks guys!

Along that thought how much nitrogen pressure do most people run in their bypasses?

I think most whatever factory spec is. My fox's are at 200 PSI. And In my king c/o are at 150psi. It’s not really the best way to "tune" a shock with the amount of pressure like you do with Air bumps.

While we are talking about this, what is with people not fully extending their shocks when they charge them? You have to do this or the pressure in the shock is going to change as the shock cycles.

Wasn't planning on using pressure to tune I just have 150 PSI engraved in my head so that what I charged everything at. The reason for 150 is that with racequads I always felt seals lasted longer with less pressure (probably not true just what I used to think).

I was wondering if I would even notice the difference of 50 PSI on my bypasses.

I guess in theory if you do it the same everytime when tunning the changes would be the same, not that it makes sense.

sorry to dig up an old post, but how do you center mount a front diff?

Do you have to mount the engine to the side so the driveshaft coming out of the transfer case comes out center? I am trying to figure this one out, thanks!

There are many ways to do it, offset the diff just a little, have the front drive shaft go at an angle or mount the motor to one side

I was thinking about the angled driveshaft. Are there any issues/problems with that?
