I've taken to driving around most of the time with the rear seatbacks folded down in my DC. The problem is that they are slicker than shit, and the dog slides around, the laptop bag slides around, etc.

Anyone do anything to make them non-slip? I was thinking of getting the roll-on bedliner but I'm not sure if they dry hard or slightly rubbery. I need something that will stand up to the dog's nails and other stuff.

I stick one of those thick mexican blankets over it and tuck it under the folded seats so it doesn't move around. Works great and I can wash it. Also a nice cushion for the dawgs.

I should add that the other thing(s) that slide around back there are the gun cases and range boxes. I'm really looking for something I can coat the plastic with and have it just always be there when I drop the seat.

I have always wanted to get some of this stuff. SeaDek. You could get them to custom cut some sheet that would fit that back of the seats.

That's not a bad idea, and we have so many boat stores down here it shouldn't be hard to find a local source.

I'm kind of set on having a brush-on type finish though because the seatback isn't flat.

Well, two years later is finally got the SeaDek cut and installed. One 18x38 sheet covered this all with a little bit to spare.

I posted this on another thread today, another option is Hydro Turf- they use for covering PWC and boat floors for traction and sound dampening. It comes in Grey and Black, smooth, diamond cut, waffle cut, and lined. Its closed cell foam and can be cut easily to any pattern. You can apply with 3M Super 90 or contact cement if you don't get the Peal and Stick option.

They also have close out sheets which are less expensive.
