I was wondering what happened to that! After Zach handed it to me I set it on your bedside to tie my shoe and you must've driven off with it. My bad.

I just picked up my 2012 Tacoma and am wondering if anyone can suggest a good place to get rustproofing done in the Portland area?

    thanks in advance

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
So, I got my oil changed on Thursday at the dealership. I have 1 free oil change left, then I'll start doing it myself, but for now I'll save the $50 and let them do it.

I go out to my truck this morning to rinse out my Pro-Dry air filter, and there was a little surprise waiting for me...

I guess Toyota is giving away free Torx bits w/ oil changes now :p
I'm just glad/lucky it stayed there for 2 days, and didn't fall into the engine compartment and potentially cause some damage....what a bunch of dumbasses.

i had a uhaul store wire in a 7 pin connector on my truck and after 3 tries of not getting it all done right, i finished it myself and found a 10 mm wrench in my engine bay near the battery. it has gone to my tool bag for work since then, but i was surprised to find it.

I thought they used salt in the mountains, no?

Either way, rust proofing isn't a bad idea. :)

unless i missed something, salt is not used in mountain passes here in WA. plows and sanding, but i've never seen salt laid down, and extremely unlikely that salt would be put down anywhere west of the mountains. not enough snow and too much rain for it.

So.... getting back into working on my 4Runner. Probably going to pick up some treadwrights for it soon. Took it out today on some logging roads and the 4LO is working like a champ. Also, the engine has just continued to break in even more. I get more power every time I drive it it seems like. I will have to bring it out for a lighter duty run with you guys soon.

    Here are some pictures:
