Can you post a link to the full write up you followed for the backup cam? Would be useful for other people wanting to do it.

Does anyone know how or seen how to do a dash board color change, orange(oem) to blue or white or a combination of the two? It basically is the cost of the LEDs if you do the work yourself so it would be a cheap mod.

Best MOD i have done so far is turning off the seatbelt chime.
It friggin drove me crazy for about 4 months.
    Just followed the steps
    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.
    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.

I went to a local arts and crafts store to grab up some thin adhesive backed foam sheets. I cut them to fit in my compartments to cut down on the sliding and rattling of anything i throw in my truck. It worked like a charm, took a little bit for the adhesive to stick but the heat of the day helped it out.

It really does help with the noise and sliding, I was thinking of taking them out and replacing it with neoprene from Wet Okole, I am really not that good at fabric work though. I would appreciate any ideas and have more pics of the other compartments (the under the backseat compartments and the ones on both sides of the steering wheel). I just hate rattling, i tried to find the exact foam that is in the sunglasses holder above head but no luck. Any ideas?

hey, guys new here. just wondering why everyone is doing a diode? I switched the polarity on the map lights added a wire to the empty slot and tapped into the middle wire on the dome and it works great. is that ok or am I missing something with the diode?
