    I've heard a lot about Hawk pads being good on the forum.

    I'm going with OEM when I have to replace mine, which should be fairly soon.

    I'm using EBC Yellow Stuff pads for my Tacoma because I use it to pull with; but I've talked to other people who swear by their brake pads. They are a little pricey ($100) but stopping can be a life or death matter.

    I have that... lots of it actually. When you turn 21 you can buy me a beer.



    As for the brake pads; I will not be putting anything other than EBCs on my Tacoma as long as I'm pulling with it. The last time I towed the Tacoma to Bridgeport it was immediately noticeable how much better it stopped. While I had noticed an improvement during my regular driving; I was more concerned about towing. The brake performance while towing is great; which is why I bought the specific pads. They also make low dust pads that I almost bought; but I decided to stick to the towing performance first.

    I ordered them online; I think I got them from Jeg's because I got them with my AT cooler. The shipping was cheaper than everyone else at the time. Go to their website; get the part number you need and Google search from there.

    Can't beat a west tx sunset. There's nothing to block it, and the red dust in the air lights up all sorts of colors. I even got a rod pump in the shot.
