Pretty badass! Still on my way home. Got to see a lot of cool things. Terrain was awesome. Only carnage really, was a blown tire. Lembowski blew his last good rear shock. I bent the hell out of my rear jounce strike plate. But Damn! It was great. Stay tuned to the Mojave thread for pics.

He blew them both? We are running the same setup and I've been out to the desert three times and still have my shocks intact. I dont even have bumps and i think he runs the jounces, damn

lets not talk about broken trucks... it makes me wanna chicken out on this Gorman trip :(

I just put $1400 worth of tires and shocks on less than 3 weeks ago, now Im reading about blowing out both of those things

Im still on disability from a motorcycle accident so I can afford no repairs right now! I just wanna make it long enough to get my settlement then I can pay off the $20k left on this thing and do all the off-roading I want :D

Lol don't worry guys you'll be fine. Lembowski is running a long travel kit with OEM replacement shocks. He's got way more travel than those shocks can provide therefore they either overextended or compressed too much and snapped, I'm running the same thing and this setup is just asking to break shocks.

OP has a possible 15 campers. If 8 people actually make it, I'm sure we could take that down in one night, and in the morning. I think you're good. Plus, everyone should be bring snacks or sides dishes or whatever so I think you're good!
