pro comp leafsprings?

i found procomp leafsprings online for 117$ a piece and thats cheaper than any others , even my local shops but ti dint know if anybody knew how they were?

 

All my dealings with Pro-Comp the company have been great. I don't have the springs, but I wouldn't hesitate to use more of their products.

 

I have had experiences with their springs and they have always rode harsh for me. That was on my old blazer with a 4 inch lift.

Yeah I thought the same thing until I drove a truck that was stiff as hell. Especially with my Tacoma if the rear tires have too much air then the rear end hops around all over the place and is rather dangerous. I would wait a little bit longer and buy some better springs if I were in your shoes.

I am actually in your shoes and am saving up for some dever springs. They are about 350 for the pair.

really? I have the money but i just dont wanna get shafted and just get one good set

 

With springs I have learned that you get what you pay for. I also learned the more leafs the better the ride. As in many small leafs vs a few big leafs.

I had the pro comps and dont think they were all that bad rode better than a stock pack with aal's in my opinion... had national spring make a set once also they were around the $350 mark but they rode better than factory...same idea brian pointed out...they had 7 leaves...all thinner than stock but they rode sweet and if you hauled they would sag just alittle then that was it

 

I had a NY local company install mine and I also had an extra leaf installed. As for the ride it was choppy before and after but I can load it like a 2500 series truck total cost for my springs was $350

 

I'm not too far from you, who made your springs ?

 

My leaves were installed by Thruway spring on Mt Read blvd I could not be happier with my springs even after they started squeeking,I returned and they corrected the prob.

 

sslongmuir did you end up going with the procomps? I am considering buying them because they are relatively inexpensive compared to everything else out there(deavers, alcans, etc.).
