    I don't think you'll find any stock vs supercharged tacoma vids - why do you need one? The supercharger obviously gives it more power. So many threads. Your comtemplating getting one? What exactly is your question?

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Your not going to see them side by side the SC'ed truck will leave it at the line :cool:.

    I just installed one on my 3.4 and it's SOOO much quicker then stock I'd think the 4.0 would be even better.

    Alright cool. I'd want to (and still plan on it) get the TRD for the low end. It's a truck.. high end isn't a concern to me. Lol plus, the TRD would be under warranty.

    The warranty you mean? You would think the extended would still cover It. I had that on my 06.. and never had any issues.. I also didnt have a S/C tho. Lol

    other than the typical supercharger vs. turbo debate, much more custom work would be needed to front mount turbocharge the 1GR, since, there are no kits or parts besides the rear mount STS kit.

    :) I've never read debates on them. I've always had full size trucks with big v8's so it was never really an issue.

    Is there a benefit to the engine wear and tear or other parts of the vehicle by getting one or the other?

    You S/C is covered (if TRD and installed by the dealership) for 3yr/36K or what ever is left of your power train warranty. Which ever is longer, that includes extended warranty. I got the 10yr/100K warranty thrown into my package because I know I am going to be hard on my truck with that S/C.
