    Can I still hang out in this thread even though my PreRunner has a transfer case? :D Technically, it won't be 4wd for another week when I finish setting up my front diff... lol or are converted prerunner notwelcome... :(

    lol So is this thread for REAL pre-runners (ie long travel desert racing) or Tacoma PreRunners (ie 2wd tacomas that look like their 4x4 counterparts)??? I've always thought it was the second.... but I may be wrong.

    I always thought they came from Ivan prerunning the course so Toyota had a great marketing idea. When you say Prerunner nobody ever thinks long travel racing. Thats just me though.

    yeah. so if we all agree that we are talking about the prerunner model and not the prerunner long travel generality then yes prerunners are 2wd! so ha i dont feel dumb. as for slodgetto, your truck is a "prerunner" model? and this is a prerunner thread. lol if anybody wants to specify more they can but im not :p
