That's true. I wake board and ski in the Savanaha river all the time over here and it never really bothered me except for the time my friends thought that it would be funny to leave me strapped to the board and float down 100 yards to the sand bar after a gator slipped in the water. I said fuck this and climbed up the bank on the side, federal property be damned.

How many did you have to do before you can go solo??

 

washington required 8. I just moved to texas but I am assuming its the same. My jumps should carry over, I hope.

 

None, you can do an accelerated free fall your first jump. You have to sit in a class room for I think 6-8 hrs before jumping.

 

Man, I only have 1 under my belt and I'm hoping to go solo sometime in my life. I guess I've got a long ways to go! It's like $200 per jump here in SB, Ca tho!!!
