I have a double cab v6 2012 with towing package. I am looking to buy a travel trailer in the near future. If I installed a brake controller now and continues to tow my jet ski trailer (adapter converts to flat 4 pin) that doesn't have the brake, it won't be an issue?

Also for the brake controller that is selling at etrailer.com, it gives you the option to buy the connector. I won't be needing any connector since I have one from the factory?

    Thanks,
    Tntrac

Thanks buddy. What if I need to do an emergency tow in which I don't have a brake controller? Would all the light from the trailer work besides the brake right?
