Had my new Taco a week now. Do these trucks come with any kind of paint sealant or wax from the factory? Any ideas when I should break out the Meguire's Gold and give it a coat?

No sealant or wax from the factory. The dealer maybe, but I would strip it all off with Dawn, claybar, polish, and then wax.

Sorry Enzo and Splitdecision for posting here and upsetting you. From now on my questions will go in the proper thread, or maybe I'll just stop posting altogether!

Relax they were joking between each other, there is a detailing section, but no harm no foul, I'm new too.
Anyway I get mine detailed every year and they put an aftermarket sealant on it after buffing it. I have an 2007 with 55k which looks almost brand new, As a matter of fact I just sold it for $22,500 at lunch today. I bought a 2010 OffRoad with 26k for $26,000 to replace it, and as soon as it gets here its getting a full detail with sealant.
Its called Vitreo Paint sealant here's the product description (The latest in polymeric technology to bring you the most advanced surface coating on the market today. Protecting surfaces from damaging UV rays of the sun, acid rain and other air and water borne contaminants. At least three times the last of any cleaner wax. Don’t wax... VITRIFY!)
I don't know if there are better products, but this one has kept my paint like new.
What color did you get? Any mods yet?
