Tacoma Mods: How Much Have You Spent?

Long travel $8000 :/

 

I'm at about $65 right now for tint. Saving now to dump the big bucks. Taco still needs a lift, tires, rims, front and rear bumper, sliders, dvd head unit....etc

 

The first handful of mods showed a lot of restraint. Window tint, UltraGauge and a bunch of accessories. Then came sliders, wheels, tonneau, ConsoleVault, Tuffy lockbox, and a full set of skid plates. Now within a month I'm about to pull the trigger on tires and lift. In the back of my mind, I'm already obsessed with getting a supercharger when I get my bonus at work this summer. Also trying to find the budget for front bumper, locker and winch. My garage is filling up with everything related to the truck, from hi-lift jack to grease gun to air tools.

It not a mod bug, it's the Tacoma bug. I didn't really give a crap of all my previous cars. Just changed the oil and drove them until they started sounding shitty. I hated working on cars but now I won't think of letting anyone maintain the car but me. Not to mention the hours of my life that goes into TacomaWorld. It all sure seems worth it though.

 

5,000 for lift, tires, and rims
1,200 for amp power steps
500 for viper alarm/remote start
650 for intake and exhaust
600 for h1 retros with halos
500 for 7in Double Din
200-300 for misc mods

Total right around 8,750.

I know I have spent over $10k in mods.

 

I'm a little over $10k now...its gross to think about, but then I look at my truck and its all worth it, knowing I have the sexiest truck....You guys have sexy trucks too though.

 

Just keep telling yourself you have the sexiest truck cause in reality I do.

 

Wheels. tires and a trifold tonnaue cover alittle over $2000, glad insurance covered the back window or that would have been another $1000

 

Almost knocking on the door to 10k. Worth it though.
