    Thanks

Picked her up about 4 weeks ago, 65k original miles. TRD supercharger and air box, exhaust is aftermarket also. I put the KMC Enduros and BFG 265/75/16. This is my 5th tacoma, but never had a TRD off Road. Its a 2wd but I am really impressed with the off road capabilities of the rear lockers.
I have always had a jeep to take along with us riding at Dumont. I am curious to see how the tacoma will handle in sand ? "Shovel and tow strap on board".

wanna post that vid:D honestly that hill i was talking about is probably the only one i have tried that many times and not gotten up it! it was right out side of the parking lot and was only probably 6-7 bike lengths, but it was dam near vertical. at the top there was a small turn and a ledge and i tried everything. pinned 1st, pinned 2nd then first when bogging, half second then drop to first before the ledge...but every time in about the same spot the thing would slip, flip out and i would go down the hill covered in sharp ass rocks with it before sort of getting it up and sliding with it down the hill. i gave up after 4 tries, never had that much trouble with such a short hill.

Sweet! I love mine. Yours look a little matte. Do you know what kind of finish they have? I think there were a few different ones.

And, if you don't mind sharing, how much $$$?

never haha! i dont care what the obstacle is, save going up a vertical wall, i have so much more control in the bike. any hill i would rather climb on my bike. have you seen the expedition over land videos? the one where they are in montana and the guy on the dual sport is having such a hard time getting up that rocky hill? I couldn't believe he was having such a hard time. It must have been the shit dual sport tire and heavy 600cc or whatever it was. I was looking at that thinking how easy that would be with my knobby tires and light 250f. I was also thinking how cool it would be to ride dirt bikes in moab. trails that take trucks all day i could finish in an hour or two.

True, in most cases. But this hill is a lot easier in the taco lol. I see riders just hucking themselves up only to come rolling back down with something broke on their bike. Put the taco in 4lo, lock the diff, and walk right up past them :)

Oh and yeah I seen that video, I was crackin up laughin when he broke out the bike winch
