    Hi John, the company makes cable insulation for the fiber optic industry. There are 24 extruders, I got assigned to run 3 of them with another guy today, kept me pretty busy, had to shut 2 of them down and replace the augers during the day.

    i think that can be said for a lot of places. i don't like/agree with what goes on in the company i work for (outside of my department) but the other drafters and i get along really well. and that is what has kept me there for so long. if i didn't like the guys i shared an office and job title with i would have been out of there long ago!

    Yes, it was interesting. The guy I was working with was a little surprised I could take the machinery apart on my own. I have a little experience.;)
