    So my girlfriends mom is pissing me off... She is pressuring my girlfriend to get her gifts for mothers day.... Mothers day to me is like flowers and a card and out for breakfast kind of thing... Well my girlfriends mom is asking for like presents then the other day she told my gf to just give her the money = to whatever she was going to spend on a gift.. I told my girlfriend to just get her flowers but she feels like her mom will be disappointed. What do you guys think? Is flowers and a card more than enough or should she give her money? Wtf haha

    I think thats crazy, her asking for money. I think Mothers day is a day where we celebrate our mom and other important women in our life with gifts from the heart. Flowers, a card, taking them out to breakfast, lunch, or dinner are a nice gesture to show them we appreciate them.

    I donated $100 to the American Cancer Society in my Moms name, in memoriam of her mother, my grandmother, who died of cancer when I was 10.

    That's what mothers day is about....not money.
