When shooting directly into the moon you have to shoot at high shutter speed and open up the aperture

I took this a few years ago...

Here is one of my old moon pics shot with the 55-250. Kinda over cropped IMO since it's fuzzy.

Those moon shots are pretty cool.

I tried once with my macro lens looking through a telescope; got a super zoomed in image with some ok detail. No idea where the files went though.

Yeah, I tried that. If I went anything over 1/125 I got blackness. I forgot about trying with ISO 400

So that 200mm that I picked up about two weeks ago ended up having a bad usm. It wouldnt focus at certian length's. Sent it to canon and they fixed it. Lesson learned... just buy a new lens. Costs the same

brokeh is pretty damn sweet with it. Gotta get used to the narrow ass depth of field at f4 though

Great lens for the money, I was a lens addict for 2 yrs, I went and bought/sold over 25 lenses until I found the set I'm happy with now. LOL

B/C of the new avenger movie, (ok I know they are not the same comics, but hey its a comic) I made a green lantern version of my truck. LOL

I took this around 10pm with just moon light and a green laser.
