I would fight that in court, because you have until the last day of the month to get your truck inspected. The sad part is the way NJ runs the inspections anymore is they just check for emissions and they would have pass you with a cracked windshield. Was it municipal of NJ state police?

Once you get in from another door those cylinders with 2 new keys are $5 and come right out with the loosening of 2 set screws. Takes 2 minutes to swap out. It's a mortise cylinder, Shlage "C" keyway, 1" deep, 1-5/32" diameter. Good luck. Don't call a locksmith cause youll get raped.

Thats what I thought, but $54 isn't worth taking time from work.

Ill send the Chief a picture of my inspection sticker and my ticket in an e-mail and ask him to have his officers eye's examined.

I didn't say jack this morning besides "thank you", "yes sir", and "no sir". I don't argue with the man and am always respectful.

The officer already seemed nervous and twitchy. Even stuttered a couple times explaining to me how he just shoved his foot up my ass. Maybe he needed a fix like the guy they just kicked off of that force for buying drugs in his cruiser in uniform :D

i env you all that live in a sate(well east of the Mississippi) that have inspections! i really wish TN would get on that. i have see cars with missing head light/ or tail light broken mirrors. busted out windows replaced with black garbage bags and duck tape. list can go on for days.

NJ just dropped mechanical inspections last year.

It's not cost effective to fail cars for issues for free during inspection when you can ticket them on the road and make money off such offenses. Total scam by the politicians to make cash off the citizens.

I was against the deletion of mechanical inspections, but I am only one man and we didn't have the opportunity to vote on the issue.
