.22 is the perfect zombie gun! one or two shots to the dome and you are G2G :D

My dad has the walnut stock, twisted SS barrel .22. It's always been my favorite to shoot:cool:

I don't think a .22 has the oomph to penetrate skull does it ? i'd rather not take the chance if something is eyeing me up as dinner. .223 or .45 would be my 2 choices.

Look at gunbroker. Hundreds of them on there.

As a lever gun suggestion,I've got a Winchester Model 94 that's a beautiful gun. One consideration,if you're planning on putting a scope on it the Marlin would be better. Side ejection rather than top on the Winnie.

I'm looking at a m&p smith and wesson 40. Anyone have one or shot one?
I'm a lefty so having the ambdextrous slide lock is nice, I also like the smooth trigger pull from the sigs. Does the s&w have this or any other gun out there?

Ah,but if we're talking zombie gun and we're dealing with the apocalypse I would want neither of those. Too specialized ammo-wise. Can't walk into just about every gun store in the country and find those on the shelf. In that instance .45/.223>.458/6.8.

I am interested in a Ruger LC9 also interested in the Bersa BP9cc but before I buy the Bersa they would have to add a manual safety. Maybe a Bersa Thunder Pro UC 9mm? Or an XD or a SIG or a S&W?

    :yay:

Don't forget the Beretta Nano or the Walther PPS 9mm. Both solid carry guns if you like 9mm.
