Been kicking around the idea of picking up a pizza cutter MT for a spare and mounting it high up under the bed. The full size in the bed is getting old... cant put shit back there, always moving it, ect. Cut out the stock crap and making something else that holds the tire up against the composite basically.

It would hang down about halfway on the shackle mounts. Anyone have issues w/ getting hung or hitting a spare on the trails? Some kind of skid would be on there too

33x12.5's. They take up quite a bit of room... I can get a 33" tire to run up front if I ever blow out or anything. Havnt really looked to see an overall size, afraid of blowing up the lsd. Swap a front to the bad rear or somthing

What is the price on the vertical mount? I am going to be in the same situation and rugged, full size spare but I dont want to mount it under when I get a HC bumper. Tiregate is to much at the moment.
