Looking good Jerry! Now try the 2.2, thats a whole realm of power!

Pshh. superchargers increase efficiency. Now if mileage actually goes up or down depends on the lead content in your right foot.. I personally get 20 on average.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

What he said my ultra gauge says 20 on the highway but if i want to have fun it's about 6 :D i like to have fun so about 15 to 17 all highway.

I'm really thinking about the 2.2 how are the gains at 2500 and up that's where i want more

California has absolute shit for gas. Unless you have a wideband and are good with tuning, the 2.2 is a tough step to take in CA.

Well if you ever did manage to get it to work properly, the 2.2 is awesome. The power increase due to the 2.2 is higher as the rpms go higher. So yeah, gains are decent up high.

I mean how much hp? Thats nice to have but they cost to much for me. Also dont even know if one will fit my motor since my truck is 95 and half v6 3.4L SR5. But, when i look under my hood, it looks the same as under your hood, so i reckon a SC would fit.

Won't work on the 95-96 unless you change out wiring harness and ECU from 97+

Just read this... (my antenna is right behind the toolbox.)
    CB Antennas for Pickup Trucks

Monday, July 21st, 2008 Pickup trucks are one of the most common vehicles that utilize CB radios and cause the majority of mounting questions. There are a number of things to understand and consider when mounting a CB antenna for your truck:
    Mounting Location
Like most vehicles, the best place to mount the antenna is on the top of the truck’s roof. This minimizes interference from the vehicle’s chassis and allows the antenna to be a high as possible for peak performance. If the roof isn’t a viable option, the second best place is, surprisingly, the driver’s side rear stakehole. This allows for the second best obstruction-free mounting location. A number of mounts and kits make this an easy and hole-free location to mount an antenna.
The worst possible places to mount the antenna are in the bed of the truck and directly behind the cab. Both these locations cause significant signal interference and will result in an antenna that is extremely difficult to tune (i.e. achieve acceptable SWR levels). For a complete chart on the best and worst antenna mounting locations on a pickup truck, please refer to this great Pickup Truck Antenna Guide from Wilson.

how did you mount the CB? just all in that metal encasing? or did you remove the faceplate and extend/re-solder every wire

I hacked away everything in the dash and made a bracket for the CB the metal console is right under it.

Yeah the switches are pretty easy to get to now they are moved forward about 5" from the dash.

I had to mount it at a angle because it's so big.
