Seat Covers not tight fit?

I bought some TRD neoprene seat covers and they don't fit as tight as shown in the pics. Did anyone else notice this or did I do something wrong. The head rest cover fits really snug because it has velcro to secure it. The only thing holding the seat covers is a tube bar that attached inside the cover that you're suppose to push in between the top and bottom of the seat.

 

Unhook the two elastic straps that hold the flap that covers the seem between the seat back and seat bottom from under the seat, fold the flap up and pull the plastic tube completely through the seem and it should snug everything up. Then re attach the two straps under the seat.

Hi, I bought a set of the TRD neoprene seat covers and the the head rest covers are so tight I cant get them to velcro at the bottom. Any suggestions? Mine is a 2010 TRD and I think the covers are for 2005-2008, but I don't think the seats have changed....have they?

 

Yes, the seats are different, or rather the head rests are. You can force them to fit but it does cause the headrest to deform a little. I did it and just had to basically fold the bottom edge of the headrest in on itself so the Velcro would fit. I don't recommend this though. When I took them off to put on the Wet Okoles they didn't go back to their normal shape. They may have by now but I don't know for sure. you couldn't tell when I had the TRD covers and cant tell now, but I was kinda mad at myself for it. I would recommend getting a wide strip of double sided Velcro and use that to fill the gap. its on the bottom anyway so it shouldn't be visible.
