I've done a bit of everything. I worked in an oil refinery for about 20 years, then went to work for a chemical company. They closed down and I went back to school for manufacturing engineering. The job I just left was a wire exstrusion company. Entry level job on the line. I didn't think it was a good fit for me from the start, but I thought maybe it had potential to turn into something after a while. All the decent manufacturing jobs are gone from this part of the country, and the ones left have lowered the pay scale to compete with overseas prices. Tough time to be nearing retirement age and unemployed. I'll be fine, I just need to find something to get me through the next few years that won't kill me.

It's the same story with jobs out here, it's been especially tough on the 50 somethings to find jobs. Keep pluggin away at it.

The rotation doesn't seem too bad from what I saw messing with them last night... I just can't get the pass side up to where it needs to be, and the shield is dropping inconsistently. Those are my big issues right now. I think I could live with a minor minor rotational hiccup.

Are you working on the lights now? You're welcome to my garage if you don't want to be out in the crappy weather.

I for one believe telus provides a reliable service at a fair price.

I was with them for 7 years before switching to bell. Cheaper rates saves me about 40-50$ per month. Telus has better customer service though I will admit that.

I just found out today after dealing with bank to get interest rates reduced (succcess, 2% across the board :woot:) that Telus filed a credit report against me for nonpayment. I left them a year ago. So I just called asking wtf was up. TURNS OUT telus was billing the wrong credit card last few months I was with them before buying out contract. But I paid the overdue amount in full when buying it out. So they agreed since it was their fault to rescind the credit report in full without any hassle.

    So :woot:
