From what everyone has said,I would talk to Jason directly and let him deal with the employee issue. My guess is that he's got someone answering the phone that either doesn't understand why we do the things we do to our trucks, and thinks it's a waste of time and money,or that they don't understand how expensive these things are and what they mean to us. Either way,it's dropping the ball on Demello's part. See if Jason will take care of you, then decide how to proceed.

I just spoke to Jason. He said they will cover the extra fees for hopping and get things ons their way ASAP. He apologized for the hold up and agrees its inexcusable.

There is still an issue with shipping that is not Demello's fault. So I am going to get a call back regarding this.

Glad to hear it's getting resolved, OP. I don't think you made a mistake posting this. You were frustrated and you wanted to vent. I do appreciate you coming back with an update ... too many of these kinds of threads get opened, and the OP fails to come back and report outcome. If Jason ends up making this right, he deserves his props for doing so. And then he needs to kick some employee ass. :) Keep posting updates as they come. I would also recommend that if it is a positive outcome, you also post the update to your original post (Just post as a bolded edit/update under the original wording) as that's the one post people will most read & make their decision on. They may not follow the thread to conclusion.

So if they make it right, note it in the original post too.

Honestly I think you deserve more. You were treated like crap. The wait time was horrible and they way you were treated was not great at all. They should at least cover all the shipping or something...

You excercised stellar patience throughout the whole thing-only to get a kick in the ass with the $200 shipping thing jees what a crappy thing. Yeah expensive-a stock bumper I think is around $500? Your case is so crazy, if I were the offender I would definately ship it free and refund a couple hundred bucks back from the price too! Not unreasonable considering it's getting on a half year. I would also spank the hell out of the employees who acted like complete tards.

    Strange...

I've dealt with Demello in the past. I ordered a rear bumper for my Tacoma and was immediatly called back and told that due to being between welders it might take a little longer and was offered another bumper for the price of the one I wanted. However, due to Washington's bumper laws I needed to stick with what I ordered. As soon as the bumper was started I was called by Demello and told it would be on it's way in two weeks. A week and a half later it was at my door.

For the shipping, I can see since it has to go into Canada the extra cost being there, as well as a delay at the border for customs.

Sorry to hear that this happened the way it did and I'm glad to see Jason's working to make it right.
