Local Motors Tacoma World Meet and Greet May 12th

That's how I handle things. Hence the recent job transition.

 

Cant make it! Too much to.do.before MOAB!

 

Ill only be able to show up for a little bit. Have to get wrenching on my '40 and figure out the issue with the motor. 2 days a week isnt going to make it easy to get her done fast.

 

All of you guy going to the Moab trip are completely over kill on stuff its funny lol Should be fun for you all. I saw some of the stuff people were bringing and its like damn you are just going to Moab not BFE Africa for a month an a half.

 

I'm one of those people. I over pack everywhere I go. I prefer to take more than I need the need something I didn't take.

 

For awhile I was bringing a full case of water, ton of power bars and stuff every time I went wheeling. Then I realized I was driving a Toyota, now I usually just bring a bottle of water...

 

I bring a lot of food cuz I like to grub when I mob

 

The water and food is normal but like 3 whole half shafts and a spare clutch and spare parts like that is a bit over the top. If you ruin a clutch there bad enough where it can't be driven then you shouldn't be wheeling there.

 

I don't think MOAB even looks that bad from the photos... seriously I think Chiva Falls/Three Feathers is probably worse (based on photos) lol

You might need them JD. When you launch over the Table top. If you can find a way to use the half shafts on your truck I'll help install

 

eh, there are some gnarly areas up there that make the Reddington area look like a cake walk (3 feathers is the only real difficult spot on Chiva Falls anyway). I doubt this group will be in any of those areas but Moab is what you make it, a leisurely drive through the slick rock or a hard core crawler trail, thats kind of why its so popular. Theres something for everyone.

Uhhhh pretty big. Lol. You could probably hit it tho.

 

THare are also little rock gardens and whoop sections so a bit for everyone.
