I have a 2010 DC 4WD OR. 2 years ago I put the 5100s at 1.75" and 1.5" AAL. Never liked the ride but liked the look. Also had the 3/8" taco lean. So I decided to install the OME 883s which does ride much better and would give about the same lift (1.5"). I figured while I was at it I would get the 1/4" spacer for the driver side to fix the lean. Installed the OMEs and the billlys at the 0" setting. Problem is I now have a 1/2" taco lean. WTF.

Help me figure out what to do.
    1. Switch sides with the springs. Leave the spacer on the driver side.
    2. Switch sides with the springs. Take out the spacer.
    3. Take the spacer out and set the driver side to the 0.85" setting.

OME springs are not side specific so switching sides will not do anything. If you've only got 1/2" difference side to side, I'd leave it alone. I think I'm about the same with my Eibach coils and the 1/4" lean spacer on the driver's side.

Thanks. Just disappointed. Put in a spacer thats supposed to fix the lean and now it's worse.

I hear ya... how much lift did those 883's give you? I've been thinking about swapping out my Eibachs for OME coils but was leaning toward 884s.

Thats the confusing part. Compared to the billys set at 1.75. The left with the spacer is 1/4" lower and the right with no spacer is 1/4" lower.

That sounds about right actually. 884's are supposed to give close to 2" of lift, 883's are supposed to be around 1.5" of lift but I hadn't seen anyone use them for a double cab yet.

The stock coils are side specific, the driver's side is either stiffer or has an extra coil to account for the 'lean'. So when you replaced the stock coils with non-side specific coils and a lean spacer, you still have the same amount of lean as stock. I agree it's frustrating but I'm not sure what can reasonably be done to correct it. You could swap out the 1/4" lean spacer for a 1/2" spacer I suppose but that requires longer bolts on the shock.

Removed the Mud Flaps, Rock Deflectors and Head Rest. Limo Tint, I had 3" Toytec Lift, Procomp Nitrogen ES6000 shocks and Struts. AllPro UCA, AFE Pro Dry drop in filter, WeatherTecs. Now I have LR UCA's, Maxtrac Spindles, Eibach's, 5100's up front, Expos, 5160 for the rear, U Bolt Flip Kit, and Extended Brake lines.
Thank you Pugga for you insight. I always wondered why with the stock coils the truck doesn't appear to lean.
