May 20th Bloody Basin to Cave Creek Run

Yes this is a Sunday and yes I will be heading out from my house Shea and the 101 around 3 PM. Going up the I-17 to Bloody Basin and heading towards Cave Creek. The run brings us right there at Pima way up north. Sun stays up for a while now.

I realize its late in the day so most people wont be down. Sara wants to enjoy my front LT for a bit so this is why its so late. There is a Gordon Biersch right there on the 101 and scottsdale or skeptical chemist at FLW and 101 on the way we can stop by for a pint or 2, or 3 or a cab drive home (even a 4 peaks if thats better).

Post up if you might be interested. This trail is not so much a rock crawling style run but there are a few stretches were some high speeds with a few fun woops are going to be fun and the rest is a bit slow paced with a few slightly rocky spots, really nothing larger than 6" stretches or rocks. Its your basic going through some random areas enjoy some fast paced and some just overall scenic terrain.

Depending on what is going on I am up for this. Me and the family did this about a month ago. Took us a long time but I was only going in the 15-25 mph range. Plus we stop and cooked brauts and hung out for a while as well.

please shed some more light on this trail, I am having a hard time describing it. As you have done it before, did you enjoy it? I really liked it personally

cant be worse than what paden experienced haha and his tires held up just fine...besides the 2 beat to shit wheels

ya the 70 mph section is not like sycamore whatsoever. is all clear of rocks/bolders and is really just dirt/dust. not much flex at all required for this run. why dont you just role with paden then?

If we are talking about the same road, it was an maintained dirt road. It had some rough rocky areas and some washed out rough areas as well as some open areas for a some speed. It was a nice drive and fun. Would be alot more fun with some speed.
