vinyl wrap the hood and roof?

I'm kind of strapped for money right now and I'm looking for cheap modifications.
Considering wrapping my hood and roof on vinyl.. Suggestions please!

 

When you're strapped for cash and you have the urge to modify your truck, is when you make mistakes. Look for the "cheap modification thread" and chose what you think is good. I personally fight the urge by waxing my tacoma.

I definitely wouldn't wrap the hood. The roof wrap looks ok on an access or double cab but I think it would look off on a regular cab.

If you're strapped for cash, don't waste your money on silly modifications just because it's all you can afford to do. Put it this way, if you had more money and you'd still do the modification, then go for it but if you had more money and would skip that mod for something else, then it wasn't a good idea to begin with.

 

Yeah, don't do mods based on the cash in your pocket. Find a mod you want/need, and if you're strapped, then save up. I'd rather take my time to do stuff right than just spend pennies and get crap.

Take some pics of your truck, then photshop the stuff you want in black. Make sure you really like it, because vinyl resale value is in the crapper.

Thanks guys. You're all right. I just seem to have an itch that I just cant scratch.. Maybe I'll start saving for some tires or a satoshi instead

 

Boom there we go save up for things you need like tires and grill will look good on this

 

Yeah just start saving up your money. Start with some DIY cheap mods.

 

What do you think, can I stuff 33x12.50's under my truck? I am prepared to trim some.. I want some black 17 inch Mickey Thompson classics.

You will either trim lots or need a lift. I would recommend OME for an inexpensive lift option. Its a straight forward, do it yourself in an afternoon with a buddy kind of job.

It already has 3 inches of lift.. I was just curious if this was enough to clear 33's.
