    Selling my selling my 2 month old Yakima mega warrior basket plus extension. I paid right at $500 Plus tax for the setup. The basket is probably to big to ship so I'm looking for a local southern California deal. I live in south orange county but work up in LA so can meet If that makes it easier. I'm looking to get $350 for the basket and extension (racks not included). If the rack sells I also have a new in box shovel/axe attachment I'd sell for $30.

    The basket alone is 52''x48"x6.5. The extension adds a additional 22" for a total of 74".
    The basket is about the width of the top of the shell. And with the extension is about the length If the shell. If anyone would like to see more photos please let me know.

    I am not against shipping just think it will be to much. I did not save the boxes it came in so that compounds the issue. Any thoughts on a affordable way to ship? I'd be happy to check a few options.

    USPS Parcel Post is the cheapest way to ship I've found. There is a balloon charge for larger packages but I can ship a full grill coast to coast for $27.08
    That is in a box that is 41"x14"x9"
    If I understand correctly this rack will break down into 3 pieces correct?
    That should make shipping pretty reasonable actually.
    As far as packaging, Home Depot sells bubble wrap by the roll & I'm sure you could get cardboard big enough from any local appliance store. - They always have the cardboard packing left over from delivering & uncrating stoves & dishwashers...

    It is 3 pieces, not 100% sure but think they are 25"x48"x 10" ish... think the total weight is 30lbs before any packing. I'll stop by the post office tomorrow and get a price. Let you know what I find.
