    well good news, I really like the grill and it was done really well

    but bad news, the epoxy on the driver side triangle came loose :(

    Are you talking about the tabs on the DS triangle? If so, I would heat up my soldering iron and melt the tab down.

    Crap the 3 air bags were too much guess Ill have to stick with bubble wrap only, You can get a small epoxy from HD or lowe's self mixing when it comes out the tube or the soldering iron and melt the tab. You can also send it back and I will fix it. Sorry this happened, Jim

    oh its ok man, this kinda stuff happens, I will try fixing it and if it comes loose again I will send it to you. another thing I noticed is that the aftermarket halos on my truck seem to make the grill fit a lil tight, I dont know if the mounts are different from the oem headlights but I will look more into it. Thank you for the grill even with this lil issue it is still great work!

    I had this same issue with TacoMe's custom grille eight months ago. The 2nd month owning it, the triangle mounts gave out. I re-mounted it with my own system, and it sits in there better than before. Other than that, these are great grilles at very reasonable prices. Bump :D

    FWIW, the grills that I was getting 8 months ago came pre-assembled. The ones that I get now come in two pieces and have to be plastic-welded together. I very much prefer these as they feel much more solid than the older ones. Also, if there are any problems with any grill I make, EVER, I'd be more than happy to fix it free of charge (sans shipping).

    4 hrs later this,,,, I put epoxy on 2 tabs last night and the epoxy held but the tabs broke in the vice this morning . Im at a lose here.. Jim [​IMG]

    You can't see the driver side is loose from that angle seeing how it is only separated from the grill by maybe 1/2 an inch, I didn't notice it when I first got it. When I went to put it on is when I noticed it was separated.

    Also - I'm glad to announce that I've found a painter and am now offering COLOR-MATCHING for the following prices:

    All non-pearl colors: $100
    Pearl-colors: $150

    As anybody that makes these can attest, finding a painter who will even bother with such a small job is difficult (I was laughed off by a few before I found a friend-of-a-friend).
