i know its completely unrelated to URE...but Harlan is seriously one of my favorite places to wheel...and not because of the wheeling in and of itself...but to me...its just a creepy cool place...

I have duty on Sunday again. There's no way I could make it. And it's seriously cutting into my work time.

In other news I got a hold of Bud and we got a plan to make a skid like his FJ filler skid for my bumper to link up my chopped down skid to Justin's bumper. I'm excited. Won't have it before the meet though :(

Hey Luni, Talking bout fabs,,, I could really use that cutter to trim up some plastic. It's becoming a PIA when reversing up a curb or driveway. Anyhow, will be back from Tampa on the 10th. Let me know if I can stop by and hack up my bumper....

    Thanks...

Yea I'll be busy doing my last second stuff next weekend any ways.

    Right now my list is...
    1. Wire up the winch, solenoid, and in-cab control panel
    2. Bolt up 2 more skid plates
    3. Install UCAs
    4. Either finally get synthetic line or respool my winch cable
    5. Drill and mount extra bed tie downs
    6. Use tie downs and mount hilift and gas cans

Hopefully I can get my TSB done in the meanwhile. Might be getting some money from the state and that'll turn into tires now or skids and tubing later.

Drove by your wife's FJ out the Reilly gate on Tuesday. It's gettin to the point where every time I see a modded Yota I can at least recognize it if not know the driver.

Hell yea. Where you getting them done? I'm looking for KM2s 4wp through RHT quoted me ~$900 for 4 mounted and balanced.

PS - Every fuckin weekend I have between now and the meet just got raped. This weekend I have to cook hot dogs for little bastards at some family thing starting at 1030 on Saturday. Then I have 24 hour duty starting at 0730 on Sunday and I'm not feel like doing shit on Monday when I get my down day. Then next weekend I have Saturday but Sunday I have to spend 12 hours at work making sure the day laborers don't steal shit while they're running electrical wires. dubya, tee, eff. But nobody can touch me the weekend of the meet. I'm getting out at lunch time on Friday and then I'm gone.

$900 for a set of KM2's mounted and balanced is a damn good deal man. I hear ya on not having the time to do the things you need. Seems like all the weekends are taken up. Hey man if you have to bring your stuff to the meet and we will hook it up. :D

You still want that antenna right?

We ordered them from Discount Tire with some discounts they were offering on BFG's as well as vendor discounts through the fjcruiserforums website. We went with BFG AT's so as to not have three vehicles with impractical mud terrains. :)

That seems like a pretty good deal through RHT. Just so you know, 4WheelParts gives a 10% discount to military and their 'no questions asked' tire warranty is 10% of the tire cost so it ends up being free. I ordered my KM's from them and was very pleased. BFGoodrich also has a $75 rebate on any set of tires - if you go through RHT make sure they give it to you.

    Definitely.

Oh and my 5 285/70/17 BFG ATs and on 7089s I'm willing to let go for $500. I just want'em gone at this point. I was hoping to cover the new tires with the old wheels but that this point I'll settle for some synthetic line and maybe some big fancy lights ;)

I will have it at the meet!

Question, I have all of my stock OR suspension that I removed for my lift just sitting around my garage now. How much would one charge for the front CO's, rear shocks, UCA's, and U-bolts? All with ~27,500 miles.

Keep'em. Biggest mistake I made last time was selling off my old suspension. If anything goes down (the shocks, break a spring, the whole truck gets totaled) you have free replacements so you aren't SOL.

True. Only problem with that now is that I don't have the stock wheels anymore. Maybe I can find someone to buy this stuff like the stock wheels and get 400 bones for them. :D
