Local Motors Tacoma World Meet and Greet May 12th

Scott has some balls, I have seem him do stuff with his truck others wouldn't dare. LoL I can't wait to see the pics and vids.

It was so awesome! great meeting everyone!

 

This was seriously one of the best meets/shows I have been too, and I have been to tons. Everyone was cool, no drama (except Scott's insane jump), just an over all good time for all. I am definitely in for the next one. Great to meet all the members, and put a face to the screen name.

 

Thank you for everyone that came out! Without you all coming out we wouldn't have future events like this. I was talking with the team and they were really impressed with the turn out! EDIT: There were 30+ trucks that came out to this! The in Car video turned out great! I'll get the out of the car and see is a friend or my brother can make a quick video with them.

It was great meeting/seeing everyone! It was cool the Tucson members came up for this! Props again to Alex and LM...this takes alot of time and coordination!

Scott, DAMN DUDE... I would have jumped my truck before my bumpers, now thats way to much weight to throw around but the rest of the obstacles I would have loved. I am so jelouse of everyone. I hope we have another one there. I think thats a good spot, kind of middle ground for everyone.

We need to have a few competitions, just stupid stuff to make it interesting and fun. Jump of the day, most thrashed taco of the day, a pulling competition, stupid stuff like that would be fun.

 

Will def have to do again!

 

Chas, I told you that he got some crazy air. But the competitions like what you are talking about would kinda risk us using the Local Motors location. If we damage their property, or someone gets hurt, we aren't going to be invited back. But there is other things we can do... I do like the truck pull idea though.

Edit: Did anyone get me yelling out of the window of the Rally Fighter? I'd like to see that.

Yea, as opposed to jumping trucks not built for jumping them and one crazy mo-fo almost rolling his. You have a GREAT point will.. :roll eyes: LoL I think as long as the guys LM guys are cool with it we are fine. In all reality its nothing different than what looks like went on.

 

What suspension was on the blue one, it soaked the hit like a champ. And I hope the red truck dude had his brown pants on... probably crapped his pants on the bounce.

 

Blue truck had a fabtech DB lift! He was huckin that shit over and over! Think the firmer set up helped....my Icon's are pretty soft and need to be cranked up, lol!

 

The blue truck had a S/C too right? If so he was at crown king last year.
