Took my 2012 DCLB to the scales today

I've got a friend who works at the grain yard, so I went ahead and got a weight on my new Tacoma. It's a DCLB sport with tow Package. Full of fuel and nothing In the cab or bed. 2500 front axle 1880 rear axle for a total of 4380 lbs ( this weight can be + or - 20 lbs 10 or each axle). That's about 57% of the trucks weight on the front and 43% on the rear. I plan on taking a few more weights on it as I add uPgrades such as arb bumpers winch tool box and other ins and odds.

Not disputing what the scales said one bit, probably right on, as they make money off this tool, but my owners manual says 4010 lbs. Interesting to note, I also have a 2012 TRD sport DCSB, this is good to know, thanks.

 

I wonder if this is a "dry" weight? No coolant, no oil, no fuel, no AC refrigerant, no ATF and so on. Might not be equal to 350+ pounds, but you never know. Either that or the guy at the scale house had his thumb on the scale.

Ya thats gross empty weight. It includes all fluids MINUS fuel. He said he had full fuel, not sure if he said he was in it or not as well.

The fuel would add about 130 pounds.

Also the '12 DCLB weighs in at 4190.

 

I was out of the truck when the weight was taken. It was sitting just as it did off the lot last week.
