Looks good! I had that idea at one time and went the cheap bastard mod route. I dropped an empty 6-pack holder in there. It's not a perfect fit but it gets the job done. An 8 pack would be better. Maybe they have those in Canada?!

Yeah I had a feeling my post wasn't too clear. I like how simple and clean the the OP's organizer is, the black one, but I was wondering about the inverter in the pic.

And JLink thanks! I have an inverter, forgot the name and didn't know if this is one you attach to the power adapter like mine, cause this looks huge. but i googled black and decker inverter and got a better idea.

Anyway dont wanna thread jack. Good luck OP with testing your product!

    Leggo,

The dividers are 5.25" tall. Just short enough so the CD jewel case sticks up above the divider to get them out.

I've got a batch being made and should have them late this week. My testers should have theirs Monday or Tuesday. So I should know if they have any problems before I put them up for sale. Hopefuly the console mold has not changed since '05.

Salex, if it helps, my '07 and '10 consoles are identical. Not sure about prior or since, although yours looks the same as mine.

Let me know when they go up for sale wherever, I'm sure wanting one.

First off I want to say thanks to Salex for a great product! I’d had been looking around for ideas on how to organize my center console, with all that space it felt like a waste to just throw everything in there and dig through it to find what I needed. This organizer did just that!!

    Now ontothe review....

Shipping:I received a message from Salex Friday morning saying he had shipped the organizer that morning and it arrived on Monday. I know some don’t care about the shipping time but to some it is important.

The console came in 4 pieces (as seen in the first post)3 shorter plates and one long one that goes down the middle.

These plates felt sturdier than I was expecting. They are1/8" thick.

Installation was a breeze!! All you do is put the smaller plates in with the slots facing up.

They stand there on their own due to the perfect sizing. They hug the walls of the console very snug.

Once the smaller plates are placed how you want them all you do it slide the larger plate down and you’re set!!

You can customize your look by how many of the plates youuse:

    All the plates:

The 'H' (Which fits CDs in the larger openings:

    One small plate (4 compartments):

    Or an offset:

This gives you some flexibility depending on what you need stored in your center console.

I chose the 'H' setup just to give me a couple larger compartments for items.

Here’s my console without the divider:

As you can see every time I need to get something I had to dig for it.

Here's what was in my console just to give you an idea of how much the organizer will hold:

And here’s what it looks like with all my stuff organized:

As I said I’m very impressed with his organizer!! The plates are sturdy and thick and everything sits in the console very snug and won’t move around on you. Now as you can see pictures you will have to remove the small elastic net. It also allows about 2.5 inches of clearance so those of you who want to conceal a pistol underneath it in a secret compartment should have plenty of room to do so. I highly recommend this!! It’s a great organizer!!

    Thanks again Salex!!

I'd be interested if these were made of plexi or maybe painted to match my trucks exterior. Just a thought, love the idea.
