I finished up my lift today as well. Only I wasnt at the meet. My lift was supposed to be done last night but thanks to Fed Ex's turtle ass I didnt get started until after 8 p.m. friday night. Worked till the wee hours of the morning and got three of four done. This morning knocked out the last one and took it to Firestone for alignment and mount and balancing the new wheels. They didnt get it right because when I go over 35 mph the steering wheel shakes like a damn earthquake. Gotta take it back tomorrow to get it re-balanced. It looks freakin good though. I will put up some picks soon.

 

My truck had the shakes leaving the lot brand new. Had to have the tires rebalanced twice before it stopped.

 

Anyone want my spare tire off my truck, (18" wheel) FREEEEEE! Never used. Come get it. Wanted to offer it to you guys before I just give it to the used tire joint down the street.

Welcome bro!!!! Your life set up you have lined up is awesome. If you want any help installing everything let us know. Most of us have done multiple lifts on these trucks. We have all the needed tools and experience....

 

Hey guys, thanks for the help on the truck. I took destroying 2 bushings and cutting my tail pipe but truck is looking good.

I have a bone to pick with Daystar though; one of the grease fittings pulled out of the bolt witch was never threaded (the fitting was just jammed in).

Next up will be rear break line extender, wheel spacers, and possible new tires.

lol, I think Burry has a few more under his belt than I do...Him aand Ryan (as much as I hate to admit it) have more experience lifting trucks than I. However, I have done close to if not more than 10

Very nice. Glad u both had a successful day (Caleb). Ollie crashed hard... We camped out in the truck trnt in the driveway.... After I cleaned all the bushing and bearing mess up.

There are some serious good guys in this thread. Wife and I were just discussing it. I think Adam and Ron ought to have Tacos. They are lifetime motorheads and although they do it for a living... Love it in their free time too. I can't say the same about PCs and Networks!

Had a great time yesterday...the offroad day wad sweet as well...mainly jeeps but they were nice...wouldnt let 2wd on the trails though did watch a kid in a new grey taco back into a tree and bust his taillight out
