Best deal online for BFG All Terrain's?

Anyone know who has the best prices for the BFG A/T's online? Best I have found so far is $230 each for 265/70/16.

Go with 26575R16's. They are cheaper, have a better "E" load rating, they will fit your truck. Down the line add a 2" AAL with Billies and the truck will look nice!

 

Discount doesn't have the 265/70/16 on their site and I don't have one of their store's in my area. I want to keep the truck stock height as I don't wheel off road.

 

TireRack has them for $215 each, but that's before shipping

 

BFG only makes that tire in a D load range. It is 48.75 pounds. That is 10-12 pounds more per tire over the stock tires that came on the truck. The BFG AT KO is just a dam heavy out dated tire over all. It is nice looking though.

Your MPG and acceleration is gonna drop pretty good considering you that is still a stock size tire just to let you know. Your ride will also stiffen up a bit due to the multi layer side wall.

What are your intentions with the truck. Do you see off road and hard wheeling? Is it mainly just for looks??

Don't take it the wrong way but I am guessing mainly looks since you are a prerunner and the taste and style of your mods so far.

I would go for a P rated or C load rated tire, this will limit some tire choices. The general AT2 is 40 pounds in that size and $138 a piece on tire rack before shipping.

That General At2 is an excellent alternative to the BFG. Cheaper and arguably better performing.

E-load rating is way too much for a mid size truck, D is even a bit too heavy, but a way better choice.

 

Thanks for the info guy's, I have also been considering the Grabber AT2's but I have always had BFG AT's on my trucks and they have always been a good tire. The price of the BFG's have me on the fence which tire to get.

 

I have always liked the BFGs, had them on my Jeep, Ranger and Tacoma. They have gotten really expensive over the years though. I considered the Generals, but ended up getting the Treadwright retreads, mostly to see how they performed.
